I had a persistant modder that ruined it for everyone. He popped out of Manhattan and EVERYONE in the game starting blowing up.

I had someone take screenshots (for reference...his nick was vox...then after I banned him...it was YOU_CANT_BAN_ME!!! or something...so I banned that one...then he came back with YOU_STILL_CANT_BAN_ME or something like that.)

He had a heavilly modded ship that was carrying "Nomad Lasers" which do not exist in the game, but are in the INI files.

I am following that Chicago Server Admin's idea of emailing for password requests....at least for now.

Again, I am sorry I had to do this...but one jacka$$ ruined it for everyone.

I seriously thought about just shutting the server off until I get the patch...but I decided that wasn't fair to everyone that plays legit.

I work for an ISP...This kind of malicious activity CAN get your account shut down.

I had to shut down my computer this morning...because of bad thunderstorms. As I was waiting for people to log off....Power went out...Once storms are over, system will go back online.

I am working on a site that has the COMPLETE rules for my server. I think they will be fair.

I will post the rules here:

1. NO CHEATING (Game is easy enough as it is)
2. No mods please. (Makes my server unstable)
3. No PK in Liberty (New York, California, Texas, Colorado.
4. No Obscene/offensive Nicks.
5. No Cursing/Foul language over public chat. (Even in other languages)

People violating these rules are subject to suspension/banning of accounts.

There are reasons behind every rule.

If you need an explaination of these rules...email me.
If you don't think you will follow these rules...Then find another server...More or less these are the same rules for Elite and other servers (Elite I think allows APPROVED mods)

Player pirates are allowed and encouraged.
Player Bounty Hunting is also approved of.

Remember: If you suspect someone of cheating, email me with a screenshot of of the offence (Chat log, or shot of illegal weapons)

If you are not sure, just ask someone.
