First I'd like to say i like the game and how long it takes to play..and the amount of time it takes to complete missions... However due to the constant Crashes
I haftya honestly say it is Bull ... complete and utter supreme Bulls**t! a friend and I were both in mid transfer of exchanging money that we have worked hard for and took many many a night to get, suddenly dissapear after a SERVER CRASH!!!!! and between the both of us we lost over 1,846,961 Credits!
and when we come back do we see our money NO it is gone! fanito! goose egg!
This is Uncalled for and should be fixed and givin our money back! and I mean Like yesturday...this may seem like a small matter to some but to me and some others that have had somthing like this want some kind of repayment and i Hope others voice themselves when they have been wronged .

Hope fully a server op reads this and gives me my money Back

Fiik, for me, has had problems too. I believe its a bug in the software or something, because it only happens on certain servers. That update better come soon.

It's a server crash. Kinda like getting hit by a meteor. Noone is responsible. You think anyone wanted it to crash? if a hacker was to blame, or someone was using an unsanctioned mod that possibly crashed it, then you can blame them. But otherwise, just remember that **** happens. In real life, and in the game.

Just be happy thats all you lost - Myself and about 50 others lost their entire accounts/characters in a server crashes on the Alpha Centari 2 server awhile back. It's well known that the reason for most server crashes are from mods/hacks/cheats being used by someone on an unmodded server. Alpha Centari 2 crashed today about once every 10-15 mins on avg. The weekend brings out the Newbies in full force wanting to try their new "Nomad Battleship" cheat or what have you, and join the biggest servers they can find and crash! I saw one thread by some guy asking why he couldnt join any servers with his mod - because he keeps crashing the server! - duh. Until the patch its going to keep happening but its going to be worse on the weekend than during the week. So if you hate crashes, play during the week instead, if you hate losing $ or even worse - wait till the patch to play.

one thing I hate is when you buy/sell/equip/unequip stuff,
and the server have a small (or large) lag spike.... = stuff gone...
the annoying part is that, what that says to me is that the game
dont keep good enough eye on what you got...

Just remember, most instability problems (perhaps even the well-known memory leak problem) are related to the hackers/cheaters. So with a big server like this, there will be a LOT more of them around, which explains all the crashing. gene has spent countless hours trying to find and remove the loosers who try to ruin the server, but there isn't much he can do until the patch is released. So I don't think he'll appreciate you complaining about it. Besides, if you want someone to blame, then blame the ones who are actually causing it!

Edit: Give your money back? How do you propose he do that? The only way I know is to edit the file that contains your profile. But to do that, he would need to find it first...and if you've seen the account file names, you'll realize that'll be damn-near impossible.

gene runs a FREE server to u guys at his own expense and time. plus he gets the bonus of hearing most people freak out and speak badly of him! wow, lucky him.

I would say like most companys and layers would say: "Force Major" (I am not a layer myself !)

U cannot blaim the server admins cuz what happend is just a thing that CAN and thus should be taken in knowledge when doing anything. I can understand if u and your friend got angry and want that money u worked hard for back, but as far as I know, u cannnot edit a players Account ID by giving them money or anything so I would just say: "Forget about that money !!"

I'd like to apologize for my behavior about the posting ..I realize that this IS a game. I guess with all the crashes and what not i just got frusterated to the point when I Lost my money ...That was it! ***snaffoo**** I lost it!
