I think that patch is the alpha test version.. don't run it if you want stability..

The patch is not available locally.

DA and TLR have an agreement. Elite is testing the patch for them, on a system that is not at DA.

I'm not privvy to that agreement, so I don't know what its all about...but to my knowledge, the patch is only on Elite and the DA Patch server...so far.

The patch from what I understand is only for people who run servers. So if you aren't running a server, then you won't need it. All the fixes are server side.

It would be very nice to be able to test the patch out on our own servers, we can all provide feedback as to the stability of this patch.

I do understand that it may cause a few headaches but i would much rather not have to keep an eye on my server & put up with a few problems occasionally.

I do agree with last poster...However I also agree with DA's handling of it...I don't like it, but I agree with it...

The Patch is NOT ready for public release. Once it is, I'm sure we will all get our grubby little hands on it, and test it to the fullest.

After the patch, I am just waiting for the complaints from the people on my server who cheat (I know you are on there).
