stuck after a router need help

Here SysOps can list their MultiPlayer server info and users can send feedback to their SysOps. Or just talk about the MultiPlayer servers they play on. This is not about MultiPlayer in general - please use the MultiPlayer Forum for that!

stuck after a router need help

i want to be able to play with a friend on the internet but my own server stands in a lan behind a baaicade router
how do i make it possibale to get an internet game trough

who set up the router in the first place? they could prob sort it out, also does your router have a status page u can go to if u type in its network address?

Depending on the configuration of the netwok you may need to set up a port forward on the router to point to the IP address of your server for ports 2300 - 2400. That is of course, depending on whether you're using NAT (Network Address Translation).

If you give me some more info about what sort of network it is - i.e. Firewall, Router configs, DMZ's, other servers, NAT, etc. I might be able to be more helpful.
