Here SysOps can list their MultiPlayer server info and users can send feedback to their SysOps. Or just talk about the MultiPlayer servers they play on. This is not about MultiPlayer in general - please use the MultiPlayer Forum for that!

Leikkipuisto Freelancer 01

New server launched few days ago.
Server is dedicated 24/7, running on high level machine/fibre.
Server ip: 62.236.157.244:2302

We've modded server to be more challenging.... like computer pilots have realisitic, regenerating shields, etc.

We've set server max capasity up to 110, but we can easily adjust more, since bandwidth and system specs ain't the problem.

Forgot to say, that if you spot any cheaters, make sure to inform admins of their presence. (Cheaters ain't welcome)

Well, so far the system has only been idling, with 40 players online. Unfortuntately there are always cheaters who wants to partícipate the journey, and seems like they always cause lag with their modded weapons and stuff.

If you don't mind, could you post the Hardware and Software specs for this server?

As a server owner myself (Elite, E2), I would like to know what kind of hardware it would take to scale up to the numbers you suspect your server will reach.

Yeah, I sent you some info.

It's not too easy to keep highly populated server, without proper cheat protection.

Everytime a cheater encounters normal player, it gives terrible peaks on serverside. Without cheaters, server cpu usage is very low.

So I quess the real big servers will only benefit when we get that Cheat protecion.
