I run a private server for a few friends. Every so often, one of them will call up and tell me that they want to connect, but can't find the server. Typically, I simply reset the server, but I don't like doing it, as it refreshes things like the derelicts and supply depots. I don't know why it's dropping offline (if it is,) but players are using it prior to it's disapperance. At least once, I've been in-game myself when someone brought it to my attention. I'm always careful to choose "internet" instead of "LAN" even though I'm playing on the same computer that's operating as the server. The first time this came up, it was after I chose the LAN option. Now I'm not so sure that had any bearing on the problem.

Is this a known issue? Is there something I'm doing wrong? Is there a work around? Thanks for the help.
