I don't know who started it but those 'html files' you keep refering to are XML-files... saving them as xml makes them easier to use...

you can then also check their validity by dragging them into ie...

so save those files as .xml and not as .html

It actually doesnt matter what the ext is, be it html or xml.

HOWEVER - those of us with multi-lang editors installed and windows xp xml files do not just open in ie, hence why we started to rename them to html. Because we can then open the file in ie without anything else launching. Also newbies need clear and well documented tutorials to learn from, and as the infocards actually decode to html files with hexedit.

Also if you have resource turner and you open the infocards.dll the lang 1033 seen in res hack referers back to HTML the content is xml but all that is displayed is the text very much like html.

Hell who knows why DigitalAnvil did it this way.
