Question: Engine ''Upgrades'' Speed

I was wondering. If mods were created to change speed of the game don't you think that would cause a problem? I mean speeds are set in accodance to the distance. There for if we could suddenly go 500 at crusie speed tade lanes would not be as effective? Or are ppl just messing aroung with the system making bigg ships slower and lighter ships a bit faster?

I used to hate weddings; all the Grandmas would poke me and say, "You're next sonny!" They stopped doing that when i started to do it to them at funerals.

Sorry, actually I think trade lanes go very fast. like 2000 or something cause i was going 990 and It didn't seem like 1000 (what i thought it to be, trade lane speed)so no, it doesn't really. AAAAHHH MY SIG, MY SIG!!!!

Oh, about the second question or whatever. People are messing around with weights, I think the most effective thing would be to increase mass, drag and such on freighters. Currently the Humpback is too effective in battles for a freighter.

well i made a mod for myself that changed speed of light fighters to be faster, heay fighters a bit faster, and very heavy fighters faster and slower, and feighters quite a bit slower. Light fighters now go from 100 (starflier) - 140 (banshee) heavy fighters 85 (liberty defender amongst others) - 100? or was it 95 not sure which but i made the valkerie and stilletto go that speed, and then for very heavy fighters it ranges from 72 (eagle) 82 (sabre) 90 (titan) and freighters 50 or 55-65 so yea i've had no problems as of yet, and also i made my thrusters go from regular thrusters at 100 to advanced thrusters at 160, so the fastest you could ever go with afterburners on would be 300 speed in the banshee. It works pretty well for me

. Cruise flight is still 300 though as i've not found a way to change it yet.
