is this how to get the whole universe in the demo?

ok, in the data\ universe folder.

there is universe and universe_demo

the demo one is 3kb and contains all of the stuff in new york.

the other one is 30kb.

if the 30kb one where copied into the demo file, would that unlock the whole univers for the demo?

if you dont belive me, uncompress them and look for ureself

hmmm, im not at home now so i cant look at that

you still need the system folders in DATA\UNIVERSE\SYSTEM, and then all the base folders in each system LI01\BASES, these are all not in the demo version............

however, if someone sent all the files like that to someone running the demo, i reckon it might work........ some problems with the level 2 limit in demo maybe

As far as I can see, all you need are the ship packages, a few select ini files (like mbase.ini) and the textures and planets used in other systems...

And then any sounds (like plot-missions) and, of course, disable the level 2 limit...

And theres the full game! (well, almost...)

Having fun trading between Oder station and Southampton shipyard in New York system atm... Heh...

Argh, wish they'd hurry that UK release date a bit! Dunno what all the delays about, but by the time I get it, I'll be bored of it!!!

You'd have to download all the new models, ini files, textures, etc, not to mention the fact that it is totally illegal.

just buy the game off of a us site that will ship the game to europe! there problme solved!

yeh, be worth paying the bit extra to get it on import instead of just fiddling round with the demo
