Yes, I did it with only ResHack, a Hex Editor, and a plain old text editor. It is more of a process (easy but long my way) that has been discussed in great detail.

Sorry if there is not a SEARCH function on this forum to find all that great buried information and questions that get repeated. Look through this forum about 4 to 7 days ago within about three different threads.

Maybe someone write a tutorial and get moderator to post sticky or upload it as a "Tutorial Edit Infocards" in downloads or utilities section.

visual studio has the tools you need... and you can use it within the some window.

resource editor, and hex editor.

the hex editor displays the text on one side of the screen for you to edit.

the thing you MUST remember about the .dll files... it alternates with 00s. open it up in a hex editor and you'll see what i mean... you HAVE to have an alternating 00.
