i just put in some random numbers...
but i've done something WAY COOLER!!!!!!

I've managed to put a destroyable capship there !!!! woooohoo!!




no AI/guns there, just wanted to see if it worked..
adding guns&stuff shouldn't be a problem, i think

I allready have some ideas how patrolling Capships could be done..

i'll post something about how i've done it as soon as i got the patrols working... currently my server tends to crash when i try to log in with the capship patrols enabled

well, actually the guys at DA deserve most of the credit for making the editing that easy


the patroling capship doesns't work yet, but i have to go to bed now... (nearly 3 am here)

anyways, here is what i made to have the "braindead" capship
i opened the .ini file in the universe\systems\li01 folder (you can do that with any other system, li01 just happens to be New York, where i was)

scroll down to the bottom and insert (and close the brackets around object):

the pos (X,Y,Z coordinates) put the ship near the Ithaca station in the badlands. you can use any other coordinates if you want
the rest is basically a copy&paste from the "killablesolars.ini" in the randommissions folder

I'll continue work on the patrol tomorrow...

Ok, a small breakthrough, though not on the patroling capship side...

I've got the capship act according to the reputation system (and because i'm not on very good terms with the kusari navy, it shoots me )

here's the code:

I'll look into the "behavior" thingie... maybe i can get it to fly

oh yeah thats what i mean rubbereagle what that knownledge you can add bases in every system (maybe even neutrals, no rep status) thats so cool... its almost 3 in the mornig here when i read this so... latur today!!!!!!
