What''s a hog file?

I read in the interview with DA that "the models are allready in the hog files in 3D studio form". I'm really looking forward to seeing (and editing

the models in 3ds max.

Now my stupid question: What's a hog file

I haven't foud anything like .hog files or something like that in the demo files, or are they not in the demo?

And offtopic: I sometimes have the problem of no sound/broken of sound in the demo. I think it might be because I have a codec pack installed. Is this fixed by reinstalling the MP3 codec's like is explained here (I did it, but I haven't tested it yet)

ole starlancer format. also used in other games...

think of it as a giant zip file if u want to try and get your noggin around what a hog file is..
