Asteroid miners

how do i get Animated Asteroid Miners Like the Ones in Omega 7? i nkow it requires 2 Models, The Asteroid and the Miner, but I have no Idea how to Make the miner Mine the Asteroid. Can anyone Explain how to do this?

Ok, I've Tried Several Thing so Far. First I used the Object (Using FLE to Place Things) and a Nomad Asteroid. When that Didn't work i tried an Asteroid Miner Base (and That Didn't Work) Is there a particular Piece of Script i need to set up for this?

hmmm animated miners... I thought that ppl already know how to do this since it was done for CF 2 years ago already (nvm)

well ok - you simply place a normal miner (solar) where you want to have it... then you create a loadout for it

add this to the loadout:
equip = mining_ship_enhaust, HpExhaust01
equip = mining_ship_enhaust, HpExhaust02
equip = mining_ship_dust01, HpDust01
equip = mining_ship_dust02, HpDust02
equip = mining_ship_armhit01, HpDust01
equip = mining_ship_armhit02, HpDust02
equip = mining_ship_hitsparks, HpDust01
equip = mining_ship_sucking01, HpSuck01
equip = mining_ship_sucking02, HpSuck02
equip = mining_ship_arms
equip = mining_ship_engine_sound

thats it... more is not required

Would it be a similar thing for somoke on Gas Miners

Yes, it would be quite similar for gas miners. I believe that a loadout already used for operational gas miners is gasminer, so put that into your loadout line and it should come alive.

Bear in mind if you're using the old gas miner model you will have to create a new loadout for it and add the exhaust ports etc, prob need some new hardpoints as well, i've already done this but don't have the files handy lol

A loadout is useless if the model doesn't have the hardpoints. I could give you my loadout but it won't work for you because i added the correct hardpoints to the old gas miner model which you don't have. You would need both to have it working properly

i didnt add any hardpoints to the gas miner but it is still working fine as it should

Of course Swat, but it depends what you've done with it doesn't it? Technically it should have four exhaust ports and four intake ports, not to mention the myriad of extra running lights, docking points and so on seeing as the standard loadout which is this, is missing loads of them,

Not to mention i've made mine dockable using the berths which is why i've added extra hardpoints, thereby demonstrating that my version would be of no use to anybody unless they had my modified gas miner and loadout. While i'm sure yours works fine, to get it working properly you will need to add some hardpoints, specially for the docking berths.
