I'm not sure what you mean or what you are doing...but to play a Multiplayer game...
first you have to start flserver.exe which is located in
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE
start flserver.exe and leave it running, you can minimize it if you want
then start Freelancer
When you go to start Multiplayer - click on LAN

NOTE: You need a LAN card installed in your computer to play Multiplayer games on your computer at home.

What (in particular) didn't work? Were you able to start the server and just can't see it within Freelancer?

Well, the server starts correctly. But I can´t see it in FL. When I connect my computer to the notebook of my friend, he can see it. (It´s the same with CS

All i can suggest is that your firewall may be blocking your computer from accessing the server.

I had that problem, juts allow freelancer all access to internet and the ability to act as a server, and it should work fine

But internet-mp works. It must be something different. But I´ll try that out.

Don't forget to allow FLServer.exe access to your network as well
