429 Error with FLEd-ids

I've began to add new content to my Freelancer game, and as far as I can tell, FLEd-ids is the program to use to edit and create custom infocards and ship/weapon names. However, every time I direct FLEd-ids to my Freelancer directory, I get a "Run-time error '429'. ActiveX component can't create object." error. I looked into what would cause this error, and apparently it's a wonderfully vague and widespread error found in applications that use VBA coding when they can't find or access a certain resource they are looking for.
I ask if anyone can help me find out what I need to do get this program to work, whether you had this error and overcame it, or if you just happen to be smarter than me and know exactly what is wrong.

If worst comes to worst, I can try to figure out the FLMM scripting code and use the GENERATESTRRES and GENERATEXMLRES scripts to make the .dll's...

Thank you in advance.

I have never experienced this problem, but I must ask:
Did you create an EXE folder for your mod.?
What .dll files to you have in it?
Did you put the freelancer.ini in there and add the new .dll to the [Resources?
