Scanner refresh rate

I've got a question and I'm almost positive there's an answer to it, but I haven't been able to find it.

Right now the scanner refreshes once every 2 seconds I believe. Well, too slow anyway and I'd like to increase it. So, how do you increase the scanner refresh rate?
I think I've seen it being done on the Rebalance mod, but that's been like two years ago...

So, any ideas?

you meen like dll-hardcoded or exe-hardcoded?

I don´t know. I´ve never changed any dlls that are not for infocards except common.dll to make the order and th nomads show up in rep-list.
