I re-did the fighter. It's a custom light scout fighter with 9500 armor, a nice Guardian(Liberty's new VHF) VHF powerplant and is going to get a engine that can help it reach speeds up to 280 or 320 with a class ten VHF shield and is coming to ship dealers at the low low price of 1.3 million.(AC not included).)

You're call, alltough I personally never saw him as light...

I'm interested where you plan to put the Armageddon ..hehehe...
There's no way you can put ti under anyhing light due ot it's sheer size (it's bigger than any fighter in FL...maby even too big)

Firewing...What a generous donation I was always a fan of your work with ships. You've got some very nice ships there, as we have come to expect from you Just wanted to extend a thanks and congrats from the whole community here

Just so happens when I saw this post is right after I got done with this Bomber.
It's a VHF Bomber used to wipe out Fighters, Cruisers, Destoryers, and Battleships.
I got pictures.

BTW that's not big at all, I have a Admin Deathship that is 2.1 k Long and has many many turrets and 5 Ion Cannons.

Big as in compared with ships that can actually land on planets.

I found that the best screenies of ships are made when:
1.Orbiting the camera and looking from sligly ahead angle (preferably while driving fast)
2. the ships is landed (basic landing bay or outfitter)

EXTRA.zip - contains a few extra ships
MAPZ.zip - contains most of hte maps used

TEXTURED.zip - contains a few ships UV mapped!!!!!!!


NOTE - some ships are textured with the same texture only with a different name. So you get a texture missing, that only means it's in hte Mapz.zip, but under a different name. Regardless, the UV mapping shoudl still be kept intact so you can either pur the replacement map or any other you want. There should be enough of them in the file.

i am trying to make them for freelancer :S
since me needs frickin long time to place even one of those mounts or w/e i can't say how they work...but i can say that all looks great exept i need textures for those ships :S kinda can't find them
anywaay as i said i no good with dis but practice gives experiance

I turned my house upside down....no Freelancer CD.. God knows where I lost it.
sigh...

anway, I was wondering - is anyone planning on using any of my kusari/bretonian/rheinland designs?

Since I'm more or less constantly modeling, I might make a few more ships...does anyone have any specific requests?

Yeah, I have started to try and implement your ships into my game, and I am really pleased with your artwork. If you would be willing to make some more ships, to custom specifications, that would be awesome. I actually was looking for some ship makers already. If you want to see some images of what I am looking for, just go to my website here. If you would want to do one of those, that would be great.

I looked at it..the Dark Legionarre looks awensome, but if it's a TC os something popular, shouldn't there be a model of it allready somewhere on the net? You should try looking first.

Allso, it is possible to make static guns in FL - just set the bases rotation to 0, so it can't move

Well, that is the thing. This is just a TC to a universe that me and a group of friends just worked up. We started talking about politics and the problems in Iraq, and moved onto the problems throughout the world. Then the discussion just kind of evolved into us predicting what was going to happen in the future. So we just talked about how everything might shake out and came up with this. And we liked freelancer, so we decided to mod our fantasy into existance.

So to answer your question/comment, no we don't have a model we can use. And I realize it is a fairly complex design, so if you don't want to do it thats fine, but you were offering to model a ship, so I just jumped at the chance. Thanks for taking a look at the web site.

Nice models in those archives matey. well done on the meshes. I will happily credit you in any works i use these in.

I especially love the designs of the capital ships. awesome stuff matey.

I'l lsee if I get get Freelancer again, I got a desire to mod it again...

Actually, I did pretty good modding it, but 3 things finally made me take on other projects - first when I lsot the system I made, so I had to re-did it from scratch.
Second, when that take-off-from-planet-chrush problem occured (if anyone knows how to fix it I would be VERY thankfull) and third, when the singleplayer mission when you must escape from Liberty space and break the Unity blockade chrashes (stil lhavn't figured out why).

I'll put the modified mission for d/l later if anyone wants them..and if anyone finds what the problem is in that mission, I would allso be very thankfull

wow good job the ships rock and the stations are good but i don't like them 100% about 60% lol
