Complete Trade Lane Shutdown

I posted recently about my lane patrols not working. While trying to solve my problem, I noticed that NONE of my tradelane traffic is working. It can't be the lane itself, the position of the rings hasn't changed once since I started the first mod in September of 2004. So, I figure it has to do with my actual zone that makes the traffic. In New York, I have a tradelane going from Manhattan to the Florida Jump Gate. I also have a pop for it, that doesn't work. I copied the Zone_Li01_Tradelane_26 entry, changed its name, position, orientation, and size... and it doesn't work. The origonal does, however. I thought that could be important.

I've never really messed with trade lanes in ini... lane_id tho would be obvious culprit... what are your entries for those?

This kind of thing is much easier using FLE. Did you use it or did you add the zones manually?
There is a maximum to the amount of things that you can have in a system. New York is one of those that is very close to it. Maybe thats whats causing the problems?
You could try testing the tradelane and lane traffic in amother system. That would rule out the system being overloaded?

As I stated in my first post, I started with the problems in my Florida system, so it's not overloading (at least, not in that system). I placed them using FLE, then manually edited them, if that helps.

A couple of pointers on trade lane traffic for you.

1} The factions in the tradelane need to be in a base on at least one end of the lane to appear, so if your bases are empty nobody will appear.

2} When adding factions to zones make sure that they have the ship class for that zone type or they will not appear. This is something that FLE has a problem with as you can add practically any faction to any encounter type with it.

If your still having problems mail me the "faction_props.ini","Li01.ini" and your florida system ini and I'll take a look at them

D-V: That is not pertinate to this thread.

Rest: I've loaded up a earlier version of my mod in which I know for a FACT the tradelanes work. Now they don't. And it only affects new tradelanes; Vanilla-FL one's work fine. So, it makes me think that the problem is not mod based. I could, however, very well be wrong... I don't know enough to know for sure.

MK what you need is a fresh set of eyes to look over your mod, you've been at it that long you can't see the problem for looking at it, another modder will probably spot the problem pretty quickly. If you want me to look it over for you send the mbase,faction_props,Li01 and florida system ini files to the address in my profile.

Have you given Orb Spa, extra entries in faction_props? Only, they don't normally have either freighters ot transports.
