Edeting Hud

Can anyone tell me how to edit hud like colors.... I tried opening the CMP and 3db but the herd point editer opens and it cant see anything and i cant edit it ( exept adding hardpoints for guns lol) so is there a program or programs that alow me to open it in text so it will have like a color = line or just a program that can aculay see them and maybe edit them.

You must use UTF-Edit

Its all lil images, so if you export the image with UTF into a tga file, then you can edit it and re-"import" I suppose is the word.

To see how you "export" images for things - read Ospreys tutorial on creating icons (see www.tdfp.com) - in his forum. Apply the same idea to hud objects, exporting the images contained within.

Big thanks but when I try to export it and when I name it and i clicked the file type but it was blank whats with that?

man it's been a while since i've been here...anyway

if u just want to edit the colours, there's about 15-20 odd files that u have to change about 5 files in each....that's way it hasen't been done to often...cough..just looked at my mod, and there's about 66 files needed to change.. :S

ok, once you find all of these, change them to the color u want.
i'd sudjest using a program like photoshop and changing the hue, other wise the hud guna look wired(all the same colour)
