Another dumb question: I have read several topics about flspew error messages and flspew file. Where do I find this file?

Try FLspit. It's better.

FLspit reads the flspew file and makes it more readable for you. but to answer your question Flspew is in your
C:\Documents and Settings\whatevernameyoulogintowindowswith\Local Settings\Application Data\Freelancer
remember you have to be able to "see" hidden files

I already have FLSpit, but of what use is it, if I don't have the spew file?

FLspit automatically reads the flspew..

You will have it, its a hidden file
