Changing armour/engine screen

Everything is working ok, i'm just being fussy. When you add engines, powerplants and armour to the goods lists you can mount them in to the ship. Is there any way of telling it that you want the engine and armour in the shield/thruster screen instead?
The prob at the moment is that there are 8 things in the shield/nao room (including scanners and tractors) and you need to scroll down to see how many nano's you have.
I know how evolutions have done there's, by adding shield links to shiparch and, i guess, reshacking the resourses.dll to change the name. Which mount do the armour and power go on to? They are just classed as internal. If I had the mount name it might let me add the entries in shiparch and force it being mounted there.

Um... engines go to HpEngine01, HpEngine02, etc. Power, Scanner, etc., don't have HPs assigned to them at all. You could always steer them to one, though- and there are mods out there with Scanner upgrades, etc., that have done this.

I don't think the location can be changed by normal means, I have tried to force them to appear in different locations by changing the values in the market files but it doesn't work
