Freelancer beta: I want the INTERFACE file

Anyone have Freelancer beta? I think strail does, no offense. If anyone has it, mail a copy of the INTERFACE file to [email protected]. I'd like to take it apart and make a GREEEEAT mod. Not just me, perhaps many hopefule modders who want to change the HUD. PLUS, all the people of TLR would benefit from this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Even if someone did have a copy of the beta, it's no use just having a copy of the interface file. The ini files in Freelancer are, at best, simple configuration files that provide information to the main executable - that's what does all the work. A copy of the beta executable would be more use, but that would still require dissassembling and would probably still not reveal how to do it.

Unfortunately it's not just a case of adding a few magic lines to an ini file, otherwise (As SWAT said) we would have done it by now.

Guys, i know someone with the beta.... And guess what? Its Freelancer, except a little buggier. There is no beta that exists that has that pit as shown in the 2001 video, or any of that stuff. It just never was made. The beta for freelancer is EXACTLY the same except for a few unsolved bugs.

The reason freelancer suddenly changed was because they realised: "Oops, we can't do that stuff".

Nah, it's much more : "Whoa, where's our cash!!!" and then : "Please M$ give us some $$$!!!" and finally M$ replied : "Ok, but we'll cut down some features, the game must be released sooner!".

Beta? whats that? is that the 1 with the cool lokking hud with de radar? If you ahve 1 post it here!!! i want the hud like that.

MY FRIEND HAS THE BETA, AND IT SUCKS !!!
It is EXACTLY like normal freelancer except its a little buggier! THERE IS NO BETA THAT EXISTS WITH THAT HUD!
