uhuh, im making a mod involving the hispania, and my first question is:
can you open the original freelancer models and edit them?

Oh boy the useful answers on this website from all the helpful members...*sigh*...Anyway...are you talking about editing the models? If so, you can import a .cmp (or .3db) into Milkshape (download HERE) using the cmp/3db importer created by Kurt. Download HERE

It's pretty straight forward. If I remember correctly just drop the .dll into the root folder of Milkshape and when you open Milkshape, Freelancer CMP should be one of the options under File/Import.
