problem with a jumpgate

I made a new jumpgate model out of 3 track rings unsing the cmp-importer in ms3d. Unlike my last try with this jg the system which conatines it does not cause a crash when entering it. But there´s another thing. The position of the jumpgate is on the map and I can select it and select "dock". But the jg is invisible and when I try to dock the ship sets course to the system´s center (sun).

Your question is difficult to answer as we do not know if you have properly referenced your new jump-gate in all the right places or, if you have just created a new archetype to replace an original. Or, if you have ?

I believe you might get a 'sooner' answer from those who might be able to help you if you can copy the jump-gate references you have placed in the system file to the thread for them to look at. At least it might be a better starting point that might lead to better answer than mine.
