Let us know how you do with the rooms, I want to do that myself and have just began picking Wasabe's files apart. I've just started to piece together a new landing scene with completely new models.

Some time ago, a couple of us were fiddling with Halo, and I was able to get my hands on a single custom level in max format.. it is essentially a basin with some terrain and could appear as if you are flying into a large shallow valley with a base in the centerish, similar to Planet Sprague (no down the mine shaft tho..) Perhaps a joint effort could be mounted to do this .. I know doing the planetscape is no biggy but this model may be suitable and I have a texture that it may be possible to use and add to.. plus I have some info on the placement of base hardpoints.. and I am glad to help if I can...

Cracked them, though I had to give myself a crash course in Vector Mathematics to understand the orientation. For those interrested, whack these addresses in the browser for some pictures of Freeworlds new Cloud City sequence that I've strung together. I will be definately be replacing all of Freeworlds planets with new sequences now (what am I saying, there's 113 bases in 1.66!)
