A strange one here....

Just thought I'd post this as I have NO clue whats going on. Firstly this is a MP test.

Right, I was just messing around with the code as you do when you need to get your mind away from a specific problem (good tip for newbs btw, if your brains screwed to a problem, play with something else for a bit )

I changed the type of the NY-Cali jumpgate to dyson_airlock. Now its ids name just changed to Police Airlock. Also, when some traffic went near it, it opened. Here comes the weird part.

I went inside the airlock and was just flying around at the bottom. Without warning, I was thrown to the California system. The console and the chat menu still said that I was in NY but on my screen I was in Cali. But not at the Cali-NY jumpgate. I was in the exact place where the NY-Cali jumpgate is in NY. I docked at Planet LA aswell. Even more weirdness, when I F1'ed out and selected my character again, I was back in NY but in the place where I left the ship in the Cali system. As a test, I flew around and tried again. I actually managed to plan it so I ended up inside Manhatten (not at the base, inside the Planet). I just flew back out btw.

Now, this is obviously some sort of bug but I can't figure out the thinking of FL here in why I kept getting thrown without any jump sequence or anything. Any help or explainations or comments would be nice

EDIT: I just read this back and sounds very much like the frauds that came up in the past, to try yourselves, change the type of a jump from jumpgate to dyson_airlock

I had a similar bug with 2 bases :
These shared the same base INI but were in two different systems.
If I docked at the main one (the one in the system the base is refferenced to be), no problem. But if I docked at the second one... I ended up back in the other system, but if I f1ed, I jumped again in the system of the base.

EX (As it really looks messy) :
S1 is Base01 main system.
S2 has the same base (Base01), but shouldn't.
If I dock at S2's Base01, whenever I undock, I am back in S1.
But if I F1 out and back, I find myself in S2.
While in S1, I cannot see anyone else, I cannot die, but I can see the world as it should be in S1.

Weird huh?

Another thing that I forgot to mention..

All of the reputations and ids names are screwed. Basically, instead of saying Planet LA when you click on the Planet, it says California System, Sector 6B. It also shows up as neutral even though you are friendly with the faction. God I wish I knew what was going on

You tried to see if you can die in Cali?
And if you see NPCs?

Patient: Doc, it hurts when I do this.
Doctor: Then Don't do that

I haven't tried dying in the system yet and didn't see any NPC's around, still got me confused.

@Glock: I know but its gonna annoy me until I figure it out
