Just For Fun Mod v1.1 Help!

when i use sdk and FLMM v1.3 it says thier is a file missing. I dont no the exact file but its says its under ships/loadouts/*gun_1*.

after that it says that this was just a test run and no files were moved.

can i fix this? whats wrong?

We cant really help unless you give us the name of the file. Just incase, try reinstalling FLMM.

You have been using MOD's.
Delete your Freelancer folder first...don't uninstall Freelancer...delete the folder.
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer
Then reinstall Freelancer and the SDK.
I'll bet that fixes your problem.

This is the error i get in the logs directly from the FLMM log

Edit 1: I have to drives (lots of games) Save files are in my documents/my games/freelancer...etc.

I reienstalled te game five times becouse of prob's with other mod's so whats wrong now !?!?!?!?!?!?

now I may be wrong ... but it appears that flmod manager is telling you you have a problem with a ship loadout..

E.G. > Error: Unable to find dest 'equip = fc_or_gun01_mark01, HpWeapon01'(...) in 'E:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\data\ships\loadouts.ini'

Perhaps if you looked in the loadouts file you may find the error

Its sounds like a script problem. Theres a script in your mod which has something along the lines of this in it:

<data file="data\ships\loadouts.ini" method="sectionappend">
<source>
equip = fc_or_gun01_mark01, HpWeapon01

It is probably one of the ship files, if you have a look around for this, you can then find the problem and add the relevant lines that are missing to loadouts or edit them as you need.

He has some messed up files....
I have no problem with the Just for Fun MOD...
If there was a problem with it I wouldn't of posted it...

So like I said instead of uninstalling and reinstalling Freelancer...
I suggest you delete your Freelancer folder
and then reinstall...both Freelancer and the SDK...and then activate the MOD.

it could of just been a typo though
i'll give you a tip: dont mod when your even getting tired cos u get heaps of spelling mistakes and then it avenchally crashes.........

Actully i dont no what your talking about with those long files names all i know is it says it cant find the file and ive reinstallled bot skk and freelancer 7 times!?!?

should I re-download mod?

How can i "find" the file when looking through them? i dont no whats it is sopposed to be?

Open FLMM and then "Tools" then backups and restore. It should deactivate all mods. Then Open the file on the C:/ drive, FLMM / Mods and delete the mod. Then click on your download of it and reinstall it. Then activate it.

for almost every fighter in the game

How many mods are you trying to use at a time?
Every time you use a new mod, deactivate the old one, reinstall the SDK and then activate the new mod. Only activate multi ones that are in the black, not orange or red. They will cause problems.

I have had a problem simaler to this. Im no't shore werether it will fix your problem or not but this is what I did to fix it.

a) uninstal Freelancer and then instul it

b) when you go to insal the SDK pack don't stick it in the freelancer folder, insted creat a new folder on the desck top, and instul it to there.

My therey is that wene you actavat a mod, it trys to acses the nerest files that it needs to moddufy, so then you have tow files of the same name, but ther a bit different.

Jay_Jay, that would not work, as the SDK IS the data file that belongs in the Freelancer folder. If you do not install it there, it will do you no good at all. It must be installed in the freelancer folder or not at all. *shakes head*
