Factions Ships issue....
This is probobly a simple fix but i am at a loss for what the problem is. I have given 3 pirate factions cap ships. (copied the li deadnought, br battleship and rh battleship entries and changed the nicknames to match the factions) IE...
ex:1
original:
nickname = li_dreadnought
changed name:
nickname = li_dreadnought_lr
now, after making some custome weps that worked fine, and copying the loadout from the corrsponding file, i changed the weps of all the loadouts in question with the working custom weps. Then did the npc_ships thing, faction_prop..etc..etc..
now for some reason they won't show up! If i changed the class to lets say..transport in the shiparch and npcships, the battleships appear as transports but WON'T fire their weps. If i revert them back to the typical "cruiser" class or "capital" class and follow the procedure for cap ship encounters, the ships refuse to make an appearance. However the house factions (IE liberty, Bretonia..etc..etc) will appear as normal capship spawns.
My issue is this...the 3 factions i gave the capships to are...Outcasts, Liberty Rouges and the Xenos. They will not appear whatsoever. But like i said i change the class and make em transports or even freighters the bastards show up but won't shoot at anyone...
Help!
ps. i have done MANY cap ship encounters i nthe past without incident...so is it a oversight or possibly glitch in the game...or what?
