This took precisely 15 seconds for me to find **Tutorial** - Jumpholes
Now not wishing to appear rude, but if you expect to make a mod.....

You will have to put ALOT more effort into doing things than it appears you are willing to invest, this being an example of just how little effort you put into finding out what was already there, clearly marked, and easily available.

When using FLE, to add jump holes and gates:

:: Double click on the system you want to make the gate from (Not right click and edit!).
::Right click on the system screen, create jumphole/gate.
::Go back to main map by double clicking system background.
::Choose the system you want the gate to take you to.
::Right click on system background, create jumphole/gate
::Enter the needed info

Think thats basicly it - however I would only advise using FLE for two reasons:
1) You are VERY new to modding Freelancer and just want to get to grips with the files and how things work.
2) (like me) You can never get the co-ordinates right when making systems in the .ini files, so you add whatever in FLE to get the co-ords, then make the real system in the .ini's using the co-ords given.

Chips, thanks alot.
I was looking for around 5 hours until i got fed up reading the stupid tutorials that could not explain in words i could understand.
Also, i found myself downloading one from TLR which seems to have deleted 5 dll. files from my FL.
Dont ask why but it did.

If you find a tutorial that you don't understand something in, then post in that tutorial asking for clarification! Otherwise its never going to get improved to a point where anyone can read them to understand.

The main problem is people don't apply logic or logical thinking when reading a tutorial, and cannot apply the information to their own files etc.
