A really noob question..

I know this is most likely pointless and I`ve been modding almost daily for the last 10 months so i`m not entirely new, but..
In the player status screen, is there any way to add to it? I`m just after a worded harmless>mostly harmless>... Elite. Type thing going on.
I`m new to scripting, but surely it could be linked to the amount of ships you kill?
Any ideas?

Yes, you can edit it but its very hard. Using PE Explorer, open resources.dll. From their ou can view the script list of entries. Go through the whole list until you find the interface words that you want to change. Then change it and save.

Its a very hard process, but I hope someone can release a utility for this. FL-ids will not search the resources.dll

Err.. I`ve gone through all the tools in the link above and it dosen`t mention pe explorer. Is it available at TLR?

Well, chips, you know all about this scripting stuff. Is it worth somebody totally new to scripting to try and blunder through this or shall i just leave it? I think its a bit too much of a change to do..
