server mod request
im an admin for a friend's server.... during the set up, we found some problems we need to be worked out....
1. We need a mod that makes the capital ships able to accually work.... thing is, we dont want it to where they can be bought anywhere.... so that only the server operator can give people (such as some admins, surtain clan members, and a few lucky civilions) a capital ship, using his server operation tools...
requirements for this mod:
-ships weapons can accually be mounted
-capital ships and their componants can NOT be purchased at a base or planet
-no change in the cap ship sizes, monuverability, speed, etc.
-change the ships to where they accually respond to the user's commands properly (like going left when you pull your mouse to the left, instead of doing a barrel role while moving left)
-admin-class cap ship shields (most powerful- for heavy combat)
-clan-class cap ship shields (less powerful than admin shields)
-civilion-class cap ship shields (less powerful than clan shields, but enough to get the job done)
-possibly a skip on the docking sequence (so that cap ships can dock without getting stuck)
-having an accurate ammount or weapon mounts on a cap ship (to where they appear to be identicle to the cap ship NPCs)
-all cap ship weaps work (like if i want to use kusari cap ship weaps, or rheinland cap ship weaps)
-possibly a way to disable and imcompacitate a cap ship*
* -not required, just an idea
thats one of the main concerns there.... i will post back again on this thread if we find any others.... i will also try to answer any questions people may have...
PS. also, if the battleship mod has any change to the regular FL cap ships or items, it would help if we had a IONCROSS SERVER OPERATOR mk.V patch for it...
