New bases not listing on commodities screen

Ok, I DID search for this and found

I think I followed Chips directions in that I now have all the new bases following the original patterns in all 3 market_ files and in the universe file, still the new bases do not list when shopping for commodities.

Any other suggestions?

Also, make sure your base is not set to "visit = 0" (I think "visit = 1" is messy too), just remove that line of your base in the system file. That and the three market file entries and a proper naming in the system and universe file worked for me.

Yes I found that thread eariler today and resetting the strid line for those bases in the universe file did indead fix my problem.

So thanks to JustSomeGuy for finding that fix and you for pointing it out.
