Thruster, How can you make them run out of fuel?

Hi all,

I was just wondering if someone could tell me or tutorialise me on how to actually make the thrusters run out of fuel, so that people will need to dock with a base in order to "fill up again".

And secondly, how you would actually prevent people from F1-ing in space.
I think Ioncross TotalWar has somesort of server-side setting that registers people using an F1 respawn and treats this as a cheat.

Could anyone please tell me how to actually make this work?
Or alternatively point me to the right tutorial on this, I've look everywhere.

You can make thrusters drain power and not regenerate it back buy just going to DATA\EQUIPMENT\misc_equip.ini and changing this on the powerplants (all of them, use notepads replace to make it quick):

thrust_charge_rate = 1000

to:
thrust_charge_rate = 0

You may also want to boost this up so that thrusters last longer:

thrust_capacity = 1000

maybe this:
thrust_capacity = 20000

When you dock at a base, this will regenerate, like your shields do.

I actually discovered that the files you are refering to are actually in
misc.equip.ini.....but your help made me do it
