Help installing a Freelancer Mod

I downloaded TIE Universe 2.1 and am trying to use FLMM to install it. I have installed the SDK as per instructions and I get this error message:

Error: problem activating 'TIE Universe v2.1' on test run
Error: Unable to find a dest in 'C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\data\missions\npcships.ini'

I have no idea what's wrong as this worked fine on my other computer.

HELP!!!

i found that if its a zipped mod, create a new folder with the exact same name (minus .zip) and copy and past the .zip folder items into the new one.

Try reinstalling the game again from the disk - then try activating the mod.

Try copy the tolden file from your mod file into your game file but backup the old one first. I got the acSliders- Mod running so.

Three Possible causes:
1) Freelancer isn't installed to "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer"
2) Another mod is active.
3) Another mod has corrupted/deleted the file, and you need to reinstall the game.

Watch your 6!

You'll also need the Freelancer SDK or it won't work. Reinstall Freelancer from the disk, then install this over the original files in your FL directory.
