SP Startup Irritations

Hi guys,

I'm using the OpenSP v1.1 as part of my mod so I can test it in SP. I made a new system and everything wroks great, I start up nicely on my new planet.

Except this: it always makes the level up sound and says "You adanced to level 1" (or something similar), it's pretty annoying. The Privateer mod (I'm doing something similar) doesn't do that but I can't figure out how it was done.

Also, how can I go right to the screen where you select SP, MP, Options, etc. without having to Esc through the three beginning screens (the MS Games logo, the Digital Anvils logo, then the movie) ?

I really didn't know what to search for regarding this, I'm sorry if it's been answered before.

To answer your second question, add a semicolon before each of the three movie_file entries, under [Startup in freelancer.ini. Like this:

;movie_file = movies\mgs_logo_final.wmv
;movie_file = movies\DA_Logo_Final.wmv
;movie_file = movies\FL_Intro.wmv
