Nav Map Issues

Hey all,

Is there any way to remove those pesky faction names on the galactic nav map? the ones that highlight faction territories (kusari, rheinland etc etc) only im trying to re-make a whole new galaxy and would rather those names not be in there.

I have scoured thru many of the Neuronet/Navmap files using utf editor - not found anything so far

Any pearls of wisdom would be appreciated

haven't looked into this but you could try and find the ids_name that goes with it. this should fix the problem.....

not exactly.

the pic is stored in one of the files in the interface/navmap dir if i remember right.
just keeplooking with utf-edit and exporting any potentional pics and check them. the writing "Liberty", "kusari", ... is part of the pic, its no dll entry.

I`ve gome through the 3db`s in the Newnavmap folder, the galaxy map is in Nav prettymap.3db. But there isn`t any text on the the pic. I`m guessing there is something overlayed over the galaxy pic.. Any ideas?

The navmap is hardcoded to display the text at ids_names 1249 to 1252 (in the resources.dll file). Just edit those to be blank and that should get rid of the text. I do not know of any way to move that text or have more than 4 things written, but you can at least change it or delete it.
