Anyone still interested in this? WC Fighters.

Hey all,

been gone for a while, but I've got the FL bug, and I'm trying to get back into the modelling scene. I started redoing Wing Commander Fighters back in june of 03 I guess it was, for FL. I've just had problems getting support for the whole project. I really need a texturer. Now before the admin trys to bump this to the Help wanted section, I'm pretty much just asking if anyone would be interested in this project, I'm not really conducting a recruiting drive.

I put out a Hornet light fighter from WC1 a while back, but wasn't really impressed by the job I did, so I decided to start all over from scratch. Since then I lost touch with the person that was texturing my models, so I pretty much sacked the idea till last week when I started over again. I'm currently working on the Kilrathi Salthi fighter, (for the eight time) I'm generally satisfied with it so far. I think I'll do a Kilrathi then a Confed etc etc. Anyway, I was just gonna do them for personal use but I thought I'd check and see if anyone else wants me to post them here when I'm done.

True Chips,

but I haven't been able to get them to work. Plus I have no web server to store them on.

Aw, they're not finished, I just wondered if there was an interest in the idea.

The Hornet got 1000+ downloads, and I thought it looked pretty amateur, So there used to be an interest, just wondered what people feel about it now.

Your a moderator now? wow, I must have been gone a long time. What mod were you working on about 6 months ago? Were you on the WC mod? Or was it the SW mod?

Actually, I probably will do the mod, I'm just a perfectionist and I haven't got things quite the way I want them yet. I did a lot of work on my fighter yesterday, and I think it's coming along pretty good. I'm just a bit lacking in the texturing department. Give me a few weeks, I'll probably have something by then.

Yeah i guess either BP or Eraser made me one today...not a bad deal I suppose. I'm still working on the Epsilon Mod with my awesome team. Have been working on it since July or August of 2003. If you look in the downloads section there are a couple versions there
