Can someone please create a tutorial for creating item icons. I have found ship icon tutorial, but those don't work on items.

Indeed: I have tried using regular jpeg images, or renaming them to cmp/3db, but no joy.

It involves use of the utf editor.. export.. edit.. import

There is an incredibly detailed tutorial upon making icons - check the tutorials forum - and also the downloads (I think it can be downloaded).

The author was Osprey.
