Mod Editing Anoyyances

I tried editing the advanced beam weapon mod for a bit of practice at modding, I changed the Mod name and description successfully, but when I try to activate it, a message saying "can't find Beameffects.ini" or something similar. Does anyone know why this is?

Make sure you haven't edited the line below that looks like this:
<data file="data\fx\beam_effects.ini" method="filereplace">

Then make sure that the file actually exists. If this isn't the problem you've probably deleted/added some tags further up that are throwing it off - try comparing it to the original file.

They aren't vetted by email when you join - and you don't get a username when you join. You get to pick and choose.
