I can't find the fixed exe that removes the cruise limit from showing 300 in the game. Does anyone have it/know where it is? If not do you you guys know of any good and easy hex editors?

TNG did that I believe. If you can find it and edit it so it is version 1.0 you will have it so that it shows real speed. I dont know how to edit the EXE's myself because alas I have never touched them do to one of the first posts I read. "EXES are the holy grail of modding and are rarely touched." But something as harmless as that should be ok

You might check one of Chips mods as in one, you can choose the crusie speeds up to 1300.

Avaris stands corrected - it was done by "stone-d" if i remember rightly, and was in a thread about it too. However, they encountered problems in that the server crashed if done in an MP mod, and also you could only change the number it went to - not getting it to be "dynamic" at all either.

So no - it wasn't TNG.
