Frontierspace-Any requests?

Hi guys, for the last 3 months i`ve been working on a new mod for FL and i`m getting ready for releasing the version 1.0. So far i`ve added:
About 4 times the orignal ships, with the csv, transport, train, repairship, heavy lifter, large transport..
Battleship encounters-All through the house systems and also for a few new factions. There`s 2 called Federation and Imperial, both use capships and there is an ongoing war within a system with capships on both sides. A real hotspot.
Scanner and tractor upgrades
New weapons- including all new class 10 weaps, energy plasma mines..
New loadouts for all factions
NPC use shield and nano bots, and there shields regen.
Ships use weapons that actually fit there ship, no more mollys using corsair turrets
About 20 more systems arrayed around the dublin to tau37 area
New unoriginal ships-(only a few so far)
New wreck loadouts-making the game harder
Nomads are much harder and include cap ships
If you thought nomads were top of the hill, then you`re in for some big suprises
compared to some encounters within frontier space they are very average
docking fix
New commodities, including all factions carrying pilots.. scanning for.. sellable atfriend or foe..
Designed with OpenSP in mind, with enough variety and challenge to keep the player busy, player has a choice of start points ranging from starting at:
kusari pirate, kusari police, liberty pirate, liberty police... Corsair at cadiz, outcast at cali..
Any more ideas? can`t guarantee i`ll add them and I am noob to modding, but i`ll have a go at the good ones.. Let me know.

hay dude that mod rocks. i am the leader of the dark clan and i what to invite u to the clan/mod team. the mod we have in beta now is ok but u have some cool ideas. u seem to have some skills and we need some nu talint. and if u need some ships i can send u about 20 modles in g max format.

Cheers dark your one of the first to reply to my posts. I did a few earlier but they keep disappearing from the forum after a few days. I`ve got to sort my email account out so I can`t send to ya a t the mo but i`ll let u know when i`m sorted. I`ve still got lots to do, none of my new factions have missions working yet(though i`ve gone through all the tutorials and posts) and I`m got a lot of naming, rumors, info and bug fixing to do first. I added another 12 ship types the other day, i don`t even know how many i have now!
I can use the ships from the cmp but i haven`t done anything much on that side of it. I can use AutoCAD and a few other progs, but i`m just working on setting the scene first.
Let me know if u have any original ideas for things I can add, i want this mod to be the best.

well when u do e mail me. but u didnt ansewer my mane queston. will u join the dark mod team. if u do i will pu u in the clan to.(if u what) as for the ships were do i get them. and if u can compress them that would be good.(got 56k still)

Oh, sorry, what kind of thing did you have in mind? I`ve been spending a lot of time working on my current mod. Once i`vee got the first version out i could, maybe, give some help on the mod your working on.
What format is the gmax one? i`ve downloaded it but haven`t gone into that aspect of the modding thing yet..
I`ve contacted Firebase and he has (kindly) allowed me to use his(or her) ships in my mod and i`ve also made capital ship class shields to even them up against the vhf`s.
If I could only get the (damn) missions available for the (damn again) new factions I would almost be able to release it..
Whats ya mod like any way? Once mine`s out I could put all the original ship variation into a nice handy package and release it as a stand alone pack? What would expand your mod quite a bit and it takes up almost no space..

This is a cool idea and something that not many can do, for the ship modeling ( me ), but even fewer have the patience to make Congrats.

well we need more people to help with a mod. we are makin a huge add on to freelancer and need more poeple. so u could help and get something out off it

I think on my next ( non frontierspace) mod, i`d like to cleansweep the whole thing. Keep the factions, maybe just move liberty to the far left corner, kusari top left, bretonia bottom left, rhineland and the borderworld/edge worlds moving progressively more over to the right. That way there would be more space for things like a homeworld region.

Well Dark, is there anything that I could help you with in the mean time? I can`t get into anything too involved as i`m spending a lot of time on fs. But let me know..

well as soon as your ready my team could use you. no comitmint at all unless u say your doin this then u dont. (like ur makin a system but the system never gets made then theres a problum.) but cheers on the good respose on the mod. i plan to download it and have some fun.
