system load up

hey all .. i was wondering if anyone knows some detail i need to know ..

i have triple checked a system with all files related to it but don`t seem to find any error ..

the problem is: freelancer crashes in the middle of jump procedure (before the loading bar)
before: if i had errors in a system it crashed after the jump (before enterning space)

funny thing besides is .. i got that system working in my old mod ..
so, looks like i have to go through ini again and again ..

------------------------------
leads me to the question:
i want to know what parts of a system get loaded first???

also if you happened to experience the same kind of crash (freelancer crashes in the middle of system jump procedure (before the loading bar)) ..

PLEASE HELP !!

thx

Maybe using the thread dedicated to crashes in the tutorials forum. It soley works upon systems crashes - diagnosis.

However, if it worked elsewhere, but not on this mod, then maybe encounters around the jumpgate

thx mate .. i just found the problem, **** i forgot about tradelane copy that i made in that sys so it was a missing entry both in solar arch and loadouts ..

sorry but i thought i had taken care of everything .. spent lot of time looking and trying specific things ..

thx anyways,
what remains is the interest about loading process .. i`m sure some1 here knows a util that scans program activity and write some kind of log .. not so sure but hoping, so i might try ..

well, problem solved

good night everyone !!

Dunno how it scans, but it certainly checks tradelanes when it loads the system, as well as checking asteroid fields have matching header declarations and zones to go with them (including nebulas).

Of course - backgrounds, stars and nebulae too, etc

I think it loads most objects at that point in time. However, it doesn't load thier details, only their location....i say this because if the line for a bases pilot is bad- then you crash as you come into view - same with its loadout.

Encounters obviuosly only load when you are in the area.
