Shouldn't be changed? thought the whole modding scene was built on change. The thinking behind this is that if your ship explodes or ai ship explodes then everything not mounted should go. It wasn't doing that, now it is... I'm all for change if gives the desired effect that the modder is lookin for. I modify mods all the time to suit my taste, that being the point i think

Not that I want to debalance the game, but I need to reduce drastically 2 things :

-Lag
-Players complaining from ammo and bots batts drop. Especially in duels.

KitiHawk helps a LOT on tht one and I thank him for that.

EDIT : For the balance, remember that Traders aren't SO debalanced because of this. Even without this mod, the traders get killed anyway . And them too got ammo. And bots/batts. And a last thing : Nowadays on my server, the PIRs are POOR (Less than 300k for some) and that would help them ALOT. While that time my TDR got about 10M.... TDRs aren't the poor targets for PIRs, they are the most annoying F1ers in most cases, and also annoying non-payers which don't ever pay 1$!!!

duelling is normal around, also this would be that the winner would be able this way to restock ammo and all from the loot off the other player... this isn't that much fun... a fun thing to do is to let someone buy 1 cargo, and strike that up... don't dock, stay outside till you died... and that again and again... it's also unknown who beam it up iff all are pressing the beam-in button... lol...

about the PIRs, prog, i have now also an untagged ship with will make money around with missions... it will be in missions, so i can still test my skills around in missions... my PIR-char has still 20m credits (started with 27m credits).

i'm also looking for info for this... uh... morely was... look here for who i looked up info... yes, their are also a little flaming on me co'z i was against it and putted links for them for more info... wasabe's post on their brought me back here to look... lol...


F1-ing must be reported around, so they know who the F1ers are... on a server where i play is someone almost banned for that, he may not do that again... or he will be reported as cheater and kicked off the server... if they put this also in the server rules, then their would be lesser f1-ing TDRs if they are in sight.
first a warning, then kick off.
TDRs are one off the weakest, we all know. and some do all to escape, also F1ing is in this...

Slight Clarification needed i think. Its the line

fuse = intermed_damage_smallship01, 0.000000, 375

Which seems to do the trick. My problem was my new added ships were only dropping cargo and stored guns but not missiles, bats and bots. This line was missing from affected ships. Adding it got them dropping everything .

So taking it away should give reverse affect. Don't know if it messes anything else up yet though.


firstly sorry for reviving an old topic, however I think its an important one.

i have tested this to see if I can limit loot being dropped just to cargo and stored guns, by removing the fuse line above for all ships but ships still drop everything

Can anyone confirm that looting is restricted to all items and that it is impossible to limit to cargo and unequipped weps or is this thread incorrect?

Its hard to see why that line would affect anything to do with loot drops anyhow
