Mesh exporting problem! Need help!

Hi There!
I made a Star Wars Interdictor in 3dsmax. But any way I try to export it to milkshape's ms3d (using the plugin downloadable here too) the mesh got screwed up. Parts are missing, parts are moved to insane locations, etc. I also tried to export it after regrouping everything to one group. Same problems.
The textures are all right (seems to me) that I attached in 3dsmax. The mesh is about 4000 vertexes but it is still not much compared to models that I already have working in the game. Anyone knows a solution? Anyone knows a good tutorial on the net? If yes, please send it to my mail too, to [email protected]. Thanks!
