Listing MODs on Server

Is there an easy way to tell which mods are installed on a server? I want to write a simple program that simply lists the mods that are installed. Perhaps it's something that FLMM supports?

Cheers, Cryo.

Sure when you start up a Multiplayer game and click on Internet it brings up the Freelacer Server List...look at the bottom left of your screen and it should tell you in the Server Description box if that Server is using a mod/mods...

@ BakedPotato: Cryo had asked about improvments in FLstat and I suggested adding a list of MODs the server might be running. <a href="http://www.lancersreactor.com/t/forum/topic.asp?topic_id=32631&forum_id=22&Topic_Title=FLstat+Improvements+%2D+Feedback+Required%21&forum_title=Freelancer+Server+Forum&cat_title=Freelancer&M=False">(See this thread)

@ Cryo: Thanks for looking into this, I was thinking there might be a way for the server admin to list any MODS as a string (From IFSO or editing the header file) and then the Global server script could just strip that string out and add it to the server discription. But maybe I am just making it seem to easy.

In the post you linked to you say your running all server side Mods so there's no reason to list anything...It would just confuse some people anyway...

If the server is running both Server and Client side Mods then the Mod should be listed and possibably a link as to where to get the Mod.
The Server Operators should put in a link to the download.
Example if you can download the Mod from Lancers Reactor they should add a link to the download...or at least the download section.

Now that I know how to pull the server description out of FLServer.cfg, I can make sure that it is included on any FLstat page. I can then manually extract any MOD information by hand. I could also include the MOTD...

Cheers,

Cryo.
