I tried to put a zero here :

[KnowledgeMapTable
map = 0, Li01_16, 0
map = 0, Li01_planet_1, 0

No result.
As you can see, i made a base and a dead planet, and both will show up on the navmap...
But, maybe it's not what you suggest, cause i don't understand english very well !

The knowledgemap can be applied to create info-bribes ( "For $ 10,000" I'll upload the location of the Kepler jump hole to you Nav Map.)

I found out how that works sometime ago and posted it on the forum (do a search* for "little niceties" in the General Editting Forum; it's about the 5th post in the thread of that name.)

Thanks anyway! Your idea of an invisile navmap icon is a progress in this matter; I hadn't thought of it myself.

To make items invisible on the nav map:

Actually, it has to do with their archetype. So for example, if you used archetype:

archetype = depot

Then go into your solararch.ini file in your Solar directory. The setting for "shape_name" determines if it shows on the map or not. For the solararch for "depot", the shape_name is:
shape_name = NAV_depot

Change that to:

shape_name = NNM_SM_COMMUNICATIONS

and it will no longer show up on your nav map! Yeah!

Well, of course you don't want to change that for depot because that is used all over the place. So I would suggest making a new entry in solararch like "depotmoonhead" or something, and making it exactly the same as for "depot", except to change the shape name.
