Jumphole placement

ok, heres the problem:
i'm working on the Battletech mod, and i am trying to link the new systems to the New York system, and trying to stay rue to the Battletech Universe, i want to place the Jumpholes above an below the Sun of hte New York system. and my question is, how do i do this? I tired changing the position in the Edited LI01 ini file, but when i pop out hte otherside, i just explode, even tho i mad the Hole outside the Suns Sphere, so, is it possible to place a Jumphole above and/or below a systems Sun? as right now, it aint working

Yes it is, your just in a damage radius, - make the coords

POS = 0, 20000, 0

That should put you 20k up, and outta danger....i think.

Even if you don't collide with the object itself, you may still fall foul of the sun's corona, which is probably what's causing your problem. Start with a position of 0, 20000, 0, which will place it a good distance above, and move it down in 1000s until you reach the best distance
