Replaying singleplayer campaign?

Is there a mod that allows me to replay the singleplayer campaign/star over the game, but with my current charecter/ship/money/etc? I quite liked the missions, but did not like how it stopped me and made me do randomly generated missions between the story missions, since I found them rather dull.

You have to do the random missions, because the game calculates the Next Level requirement by adding a value to what you ALREADY possess, so even if you had $200,000 after the first mission, the next level would be set at about $210,000. That's just the way it is.
