New houses?

New houses?

Is it possible? I've made new fations, although I'm having trouble getting them to show up in the reputation screen. New systems aren't too hard (flex), though the naming part took me a while.

But I can't find where the game stores information on houses. Is it hard coded? Or is it possible to add a new one in.

I've been reading this forum for a while, and have been able to use what I've found here to make some basic changes to the game. But I've never seen anything detailed about houses.

from my understanding of the way the system works, a "house" as it were just consists of a bunch of factions that get along and have systems under their control - meaning that all liberty governemnt factions (navy, lpi, lsf, etc..) factions (for instance) are set to lawful in new york, and patrol a lot.

i could be way off, though...

Makes sense.

Actually, looking through initialworld.ini, the houses seem like just a way for whoever wrote all this data to keep track of which faction is what. Maybe I'm wrong.

I would like to get my new house to show up on the universe map, but that's not exactly my top concern by any means.
