Ship space

Does any one out there know how to make more space in a ship. i can uncompress the file and change its space needed but i cant get it to turn back into a configuration file it just goes into a text document and it dont work when i run my game. if you go to this site http://en.lancerplanet.com/?a27 this is how far i have got just to go into more detail.

Did you rename the .ini.txt file into .ini?

Freelancer is supposed to be able to read both compressed and uncompressed .ini files, so that you don't have to recompress the files after editing them; you just have to name them .ini (replacing the original file, which you should backup) instead of .ini.txt.
